The Augustana University men's basketball team defeated the Wayne State Wildcats 101-88 in a game that will go down as one of the most watched games of 2023-24. The Vikings were led by Isaac Fink, who scored 30 points, Jadan Graves, who scored 21 points, and Arhman Lewis, who scored 21 points.

The game was a back-and-forth affair, with the Vikings taking a 45-42 lead into halftime. The second half was even more exciting, with the teams trading the lead 10 times. With the game tied at 62, freshman Lewis hit a jumper from outside the paint to give Augustana the lead. The Vikings then went on to extend their lead to 10 points and held on for the win.

Augustana shot 62.7 percent from the free throw line, 69.2 percent from three-point range, and 90.3 percent from the stripe. Graves was 6-of-7 from three-point range, and Brady Helgren scored a career-high 14 points on 4-for-4 shooting from three-point range.

The Vikings will return home for their final game before the Christmas break against Southwest Minnesota State. The game will be held at the Sanford Pentagon and Santa Claus will greet fans before the game.
