Palinha's deal to join Bayern falls through, he won't be joining Bayern!

According to Romano, Florian Plettenberg and several other journalists, Palinha had completed two rounds of medicals and was photographed in a Bayern shirt, but now the deal has fallen through.

Romano said the deal fell through because Fulham could not find a replacement. Fulham wanted to sign Pallinha for 20 million euros, but Bayern wanted to pay less. Fulham couldn't find a suitable replacement and therefore decided to reject Bayern's offer.

As for the deal for Hrafenbech to join Liverpool, sources from Romano say the deal is unaffected.

Palinha, 28, who plays as a back-rower, joined Fulham last summer for €20 million, with the player's transfer value currently standing at €40 million.

The addition of Palinha was part of Bayern's plan to strengthen their back four after losing Pavard. However, the deal eventually fell through as Fulham were unable to find a replacement.

The addition of Palinha also means that Bayern will continue to look for a replacement for Pavard.
